A man in a uniform was assaulted by a group of men dressed in army uniforms on Friday morning, in the second such incident of its kind in Dublin city.
The incident happened in the Dublin area around 1:15pm.
The group of two to three men in Army Uniforms was at a nearby military installation.
The man told gardaí he was walking in the area and noticed a group moving towards him when he was approached by the men wearing the uniform.
The men told him he could not walk, he told gardai he was in a public place and that he was wearing a military uniform.
He was then confronted by one of the men, who said he would give him a call, but then the men left.
Mr O’Donnell told the Herald he had been walking his dog at the time and did not see the men.
The Garda Siochana said it was investigating the incident.
